Soul retrieval is sometimes necessary after soul loss which occurs during instances of traumatic events, situations and deaths. Sometimes a piece of one's soul goes away during these traumas until it feels safe to return. Other times people give a piece of their soul to another out of love, protection, and/or duty (or other reasons) but they feel this deep profound loss after a physical departure/breakup or after the loved one has transitioned. This feeling of loss is natural and part of the grieving process. Most soul fragments come back in time on their own accord as we heal. Some do not. Even after a sensible amount of time and healing (this is different for everyone) a person may still feel stuck or like an integral piece of their soul or heart is gone. Some people have many soul fragments still lost because of a series of traumas (in this and other lives). A trained shaman goes into an altered state of consciousness to retrieve these soul fragments ONLY if they are ready to return to the whole. Divination and assistance from the shaman and client's spiritual team is necessary to perform a soul retrieval ritual.
