“Love is power, not fear. Fear isn’t real. Love is.” –Xander M. (age 5)

Updated: May 12, 2022

My son is the most powerful soul that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing personally in the physical. He is much older than me and I am an an ancient soul. He is my treasured spirit guide gifted to me by the divine. My husband and I always sit in awe listening to him and learning at the chubby baby feet of a master. A few years ago I took to writing down all of the downloads that he supplies to me so that I remember and I can show him when he’s older. Now I have the pleasure of sharing his wisdom with others.

Run Towards Fear

Some of my son’s most repeated advice centers around fear and how it is not real, but rather a construct to keep people stuck. He describes fear as a Scooby Doo-like boogeyman guarding the path towards your highest timeline. Once you closely scrutinize the fear you will see that it is made out of nothing and it cannot hurt you. He always tells me that when I feel fear I should run towards it not away from it. He says the easiest way through is THROUGH, not away. This was some hard advice for me to accept since my conditioned response to fear is to run...in the opposite direction! Put in the vernacular - when I feel/see/sense fear I get the hell outta Dodge! However, since putting this advice into play on a daily basis I have been able to conquer many situations, people, entities, and tasks EASILY.

Tasks that I ordinarily would have run from at all costs have become my biggest testimonies. For instance, I knew my career in education was stifling me and my creativity. I knew it for years, but I kept putting it off. I was terrified of sacrificing the comfort of a 9 to 5 in order to explore my options and to expand my soul. After rereading the sage advice from my son I resigned the next day. No plans, no savings, no safety net, but as soon as I signed the paperwork a gigantic weight lifted off of me. I was free to be me simply by confronting my fear. As soon as I did opportunities flooded me. I was able to pick and choose which projects resonated with my soul and my purpose and to pursue those. The courage to face my fear was loaned to me by my wise son and I am so thankful. By planting my feet, steeling my resolve, and running towards fear I have racked up substantially more wins in life than L’s.

It's ALL in Your Head

Of course, use your discernment with this advice. My son is not talking about cases of imminent bodily danger and running towards your captor/attacker. In those cases, use your wits and get out of the situation safely by all means necessary. He is speaking of fear which resides in your head. The fear that keeps you playing small or taking up as little space as possible on this giant, blue marble suspended in space. Remember that if accomplishing your dreams and being on your best and highest timeline possible doesn’t cause you at least a little apprehension, then you need to back up and dream MUCH bigger. Love yourself enough to stare your fears in the face and run right through them.

CREATE a great day!
